Ice Cube Trays!!! Another use for them is to help organize and store your jewelry! How much you can do will Depend on the size of the tray and the size of your earrings, watches, necklaces, etc. For some of my clients I use ice cube trays when we are sorting a junk drawer, or box of mangled jewelry or cleaning out a closet. Especially for super small items. Try it!

Q is for Quick Drawer Organization
Pick a drawer.
Take the drawer out and empty it on a table.
Then sort the drawer into three piles:
- stuff that really should go in the drawer.
- stuff that belongs elsewhere.
- stuff to get rid of. (or trash)
Clean the drawer out nice, then put the stuff in the first pile back neat and orderly.
Deal with the other piles immediately!

Roll With It
I'm sharing a technique inspired by one of my clients, that now I employed at home myself: Rolling t shirts in my drawers.
Rolling t shirts is one great way to organize the drawers. I discovered that I could get about a third more T-shirts in a drawer with a fold-and-roll technique. But the best part is that this method keeps logos, patterns, or labels displayed, making it easy for a kid to hunt down that top she so desperately needs on any given day. (adults too)

T.G.I.F.C.
You guys have been great sports this week. And hopefully you took my challenges as helpful suggestions in Spring Cleaning. My goal is to help everyone stay motivated to eradicating clutter in their lives. Its Friday and I have ONE more challenge! The Junk Drawer!
In my other blog The Super Organizer Universe I shared my philosophy that every is allowed ONE junk drawer! Its okay to have a drawer for misc items. NOW 'Im asking you to go to that drawer and clean it out. Chances are the drawer cant close all the way anyway. hehe. I did mine the other day. What to rout is hard to define, so it may take you longer than the other challenges this week. For me it was old sauce packets, some business cards that i know i'll never call, and some actual bits of trash. ALSO I found that extension cord I needed. Now the drawer is ready for more stuff.
Good luck with that one. I know you'll know what to get rid of. You may find something you need NOW. IT will be good! DO IT!!

The Washer and Dryer Ate My Socks
Happy Mid
Week Readers! I want to continue to challenge those who have been following my
blogs this week or newly challenge those who are reading today’s blog only.
Monday I asked you to clean out a shirt drawer. Yesterday I told you to clean
out the refrigerator. Today I want you to throw out any socks that don’t have a
companion!! TODAY! DO IT!
No matter
how careful I am, I still lose a sock here and there. I’ll hold on it for a
little while (at least till laundry is done and the hamper is empty) and then
see if it shows up. Sometimes its does and sometimes it doesn’t and I used to hold
on to them forever. I would have a drawer full of mismatched socks! Just taking
up space! Does that happen to you? Well
no more. Unless you are going to wear two different socks to work, I say throw
them out!!!! You can always by new socks.
Its things
like this that add up and make clutter happen. Soon you don’t have space for
the stuff that really matters. So today THROW OUT SOCKS THAT DON’T HAVE A MATE!

Hole-y Moley!
I encourage everyone who is reading this post to do this TODAY! You can do it RIGHT now if you are at home. Or do it after work when you get home! Pick a drawer in bedroom or closet that has shirts in it and go through that drawer and take out and set aside any shirt that is ripped, stained, torn to pieces, stretched out, too tight and only put back in shirts that are in good and/or semi-good condition.
Take the new pile you made and either cut the shirts and make into rags for cleaning and dusting or throw away! If while going through this drawer, you pulled out shirts that are decent but you just dont where anymore, then donate or give away! DO it!!! Just ONE drawer!!!!
How does it feel? (Good?) Do you have more room? ( probably) How long did it take you to do that? ( not that long) If you feel compelled too, pick another drawer and do the same thing. OR on another day, do it again! Spring Cleaning can start small. Any movement is good! DO it today!
