E is for Egg Cartons

I am all about re purposing items. For one, it helps with not bringing MORE items into a space. Take Egg Cartons for instance. Some farmers markets will let you bring in empty egg cartons to refill with eggs.

Another use for egg cartons is for storage! You can use them to store office supplies like paper clips, rubber bands, staples, etc. They can be a great jewelry organizer, especially earrings and rings.

You can use them to hold paint or other crafting supplies when the kids are working on school projects.

Basically cut off the top part and use the bottom half for storage and organization.

I is for Ice Cube Trays

Ice Cube Trays!!! Another use for them is to help organize and store your jewelry! How much you can do will Depend on the size of the tray and the size of your earrings, watches, necklaces, etc. For some of my clients I use ice cube trays when we are sorting a junk drawer, or box of  mangled jewelry or cleaning out a closet. Especially for super small items. Try it!

Untangled

You can store your hanging necklaces and charm bracelets in the wall of a cabinet. Take small nails and nail along the interior of the wall about half inch to one inch apart from each other. It displays nice. Its doesn't take up any additional space anywhere IN your room  or ON a table or dresser.  Its easy access and you can see what you have.
